One Man One Vote Rule Adopted for County Boards of Education
The 63rd General Assembly approved House File 766 effective June 13 to apportion county boards of education by equal areas. Appanoose County divides into four areas with detailed district boundaries across Moravia Davis and Vermillion townships and surrounding communities. Three current terms expire 1969 with vacancies to fill. nominations open 20 to 45 days before the September 4 1969 election.

Saturday Services For Glen Eagle
Funeral services for Glen Eagle were held at Moulton United Methodist Church with Rev. Ever ett Batley officiating. Burial followed at Sunset View Cemetery north of Moulton. Eagle, who died July 16, began as a mortician in 1922, later led Hitchcock Funeral Home in Moulton from 1941 to 1966, and left the business to David Daley. Council Accepts Sewage Bids For Moulton Lagoon Plant
Moulton council met Monday night to study bids for a lagoon type sewage disposal plant. Six bids ranged from 46 131.86 to 53 956.47 with the three lowest under advisement for the August 4 meeting. Decision will consider completion time, engineer and attorney reports, with revenue bonds backing bond sales and FHA guarantee after bonding attorney approval.
