Lavaca County Budget Shows 37 Million Valuation Increase
The Lavaca County budget reports total valuation of 37 million dollars, up from 30 million last year, boosting General Revenue by about 50 thousand and Road and Bridge Funds by around 15 thousand. Eighty cents in tax is split with 44 cents to General Fund and 36 cents to Road and Bridge Funds, allocating 10 cents for new equipment and 12 cents for farm to market road right of way, plus 14 percent to various road precincts.
