Moulton Ind School District Seeks Seal Bid For Bus
The Moulton Independent School District invites bids for a 1963 Chevrolet 48 passenger school bus in good condition. Bids must be sent to Supt. Thomas H. Hoyer Drawer C Moulton Texas 77975 by October 8 with bids opened at 8:00 PM during the regular school board meeting. Bus viewable at the Moulton school campus. Decontrol of Oil Prices Will Cost Texans Much More
Texas Comptroller Bob Bullock warned that federal oil price decontrol would cost Texans far more than it would gain for the state treasury. He projected $625 million in higher gasoline costs for consumers next year versus only $170 million in additional tax revenues, calling it a poor trade. He cited a price rise of eight cents per gallon and oil at $10.50 a barrel, with broader tax and royalty effects.
