Egg Production and Prices Outlook for 1956 Texas Report
Texas and South Central egg production rose in early 1956 with April and July gains. National stocks fell sharply by July while US shell eggs totaled 1,259,000 cases. Hatchery output and potential layers suggest a larger laying flock this fall, with prices likely lower in late 1956 and early 1957.
