Grand Jury Report from Hallettsville Lavaca County 1925
The Grand Jury of Lavaca County submits findings for the October Term. Five true bills were found two misdemeanors and three felonies. Jails and courthouse are sanitary though calls for blankets locks and stove pipes. Poor farm well kept but needs more baths. Some Dean Law violations investigated but few indictments possible due to witness reluctance. Thanks to State Attorneys and Bailiffs.

Yoakum Couple Celebrates Golden Wedding Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Tucker of Yoakum observed their 50th wedding anniversary with a vow renewal at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. A barbecue dinner for 60 guests followed. Seven children including Alfred Tucker and Mrs. Lorena Dullye of San Antonio helped celebrate, while more than 2,000 friends visited the Tucker home.

Farmer Killed Under Wheels in Texas Truck Incident
