Died last Saturday at 2 15 am infant Wesley son of Mr and Mrs Henry Etlinger buried at Catholic Cemetery Saturday evening. Also obituary of Joseph Vyvjala of Praha who died Oct 20 after a lingering illness leaving a wife and two children. Various local advertisements and notices follow including holiday goods, a horse harness theft, a marriage announcement for Geo von Lienen and Bertha Lockman, and market reports with doctor and medicine ads.
I J Pesek, current Assessor and Democratic nominee, visited Sunday for a barbecue. Mrs. Oswald Buescher joined her mother Mrs Aug Mueller from Smithville, heading to San Antonio for the fair. W K Sullivan has been elected to the New Orleans Cotton Exchange, a notable distinction for the region.
On November 3rd The Eagle will print several thousand election tickets. They will be sent to all boxes and those who want their names on them must notify this office at once. A fee of 50 cents will be charged for those who have announced one dollar for those who failed to announce. No name will be placed unless cash accompanies the offer. James must be here by the first of November.
Mrs Helena Albrecht announces the appointment of Ms Feh renkamp as receiver for the estate of Rad Albrecht. Creditors and those with claims must settle promptly. the estate must be closed by November 1. Unsettled notes and accounts will be turned to an attorney for collection.
