Birds and Beasts Advertise Like Nature’s Signage
An American poet notes that birds and beasts advertise plainly. The hen cackles after laying an eye, the rooster crowing at sunrise, pigeon and dove cooing, peacock displaying tail and squeaking pride. A watchdog barks at intruders. a serpent hisses in attack. Man should advertise, says the piece, especially for intrinsic preparations. Triner's Bitter Wine, popular 34 years, is lauded by public letters to Joseph Triner Co. Chicago Illinois as a remedy for poor appetite, constipation, and stomach discomfort. Drugstores stock it.
