Prevent Grass Fires In Fall Weather
Due to lack of rain in fall owners should survey premises to prevent fires. Clean gardens and lots of weeds, mow vacant lots, and remove dry grass from buildings and fences. Avoid burning on windy days and never leave fires unattended. Douse coals before leaving. Rural areas add fire lanes and clearance around electric lines and barns. Page 8.
