Reed Named District Manager of Southwestern Bell in Brenham
Floyd C. Reed appointed manager of the local Southwestern Bell exchange, succeeding Newton K. Haverstock. Reed, formerly relief manager in Houston, began with the company in 1939 and served as a radio code instructor in the war. The Brenham area, including Bellville to Sealy exchanges serving over 9,000 telephones, will be his responsibility with his wife living in Brenham.
