Local Shiner Area Social News Highlights Departures and Visits
Mrs Henry Kroeger was in Shiner Thursday. Several residents including Mies Helen Kaase and Laura Valenta left for Aus tin and Bastrop. Willie Koenig and Henry Menefee connected at Shiner between trains, and Henry Pieper visited Hallettsville. Frank Krametbaur left for San Antonio Range, Della Grametbaur of Range traveled to Yoakum, and Mies Kabitz planned Yoakum visit. Otto Jarszen and Galveston family visited homefolks. F Guenther returned to Schalenburg after a week here. J T Jaeggli hosted visitors in Hallettsville, while Henry Etlinger returned from San Antonio on business. Dr. Kent, eye ear nose throat specialist, was here on professional business. Helen Rachmann and Stella Morgenroth visited homefolks in Shiner. The Gramerbaur family of Range, Mr and Mrs William Peterson, and James D Gray were noted visitors. Various other trips to Yoakum, Seguin, Hallettsville, and Goliad are listed along with a local funeral. The one and a half month old son of Mr and Mrs F W Hans died and was buried at Moulton Catholic cemetery with Rev Neather.
