Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Smith visited their daughter Lorena Ruth in Bryan Sunday. Mr. Lee L. Jarosek and family and Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Pundt spent Sunday at College Station visiting Willie Pundt, a student there. Supt. and Mrs. S. F. Cernosek and children were in Bresien Sunday, where Mr. Cernosek delivered an Armistice Day address at the picnic.
Hallettsville November 3 Governor Coke R Stevenson notified Bruno Cohn of his appointment to Lavaca county re employment committee man by President Roosevelt. Cohn will work with the local draft board to help men discharged from military service find jobs.
