Farmers & Merchants State Bank Takes Over First State Bank
In Seguin on Monday November 9 the Farmers & Merchants State Bank of Moulton took over the First State Bank of Moulton once a longtime local institution. The deal includes a brick corner building and aims for a January 1 1932 occupancy. Depositors are assured of safety as the bank is financially strong and stockholders provided cash guarantees.
