In Esopus Parker denounces corporate campaign contributions as business investments to sway legislation. Republicans defend via noted ties to Standard Oil figures McCarren and Meyer, while Parker excludes private individuals from his critique.
F W Timm died Wednesday afternoon at his home aged 74. His remains were laid to rest in City cemetery after funeral rites yesterday morning. He left a wife and many grown children, among the region's respected residents. In earlier years business worries affected his mind, and his family cared for him with devoted care.
County Clerk Buchanan issues many marriage licences. Cotton weighed at local platforms totals 3200 bales with most picked ginned and sold. Pecans marketed with expected revenue around 15000 dollars. Texas nears leading U S population, likely to surpass Ohio by 1920, Illinois by 1930, Pennsylvania by 1949, and New York by 1950.
