CDA Holds Meeting in Moulton with June 2 Installations
Recording secretary Hattie Olle Annie Laurie Matus and Sharon Kubicek led the CDA meeting as officers were set for installation on June 2 in Moulton. A social will follow the ceremony. The group approved serving desserts at the Clinic Picnic and selling hamburgers at the Moulton Jamboree with Hattie Olle as hamburger chair. Deputy Kathy Fishbeck led a closing prayer before lunch.

KJZT Juniors Hold Meeting In St Joseph Hall May 3
The Moulton KJZT Juniors met May 3 in St. Joseph Hall with President Patrice Koranek opening and Sherri Dornak collecting dues. A June bake sale was planned to fund projects while quilt blocks for State competition were discussed. Amy Holub will represent District 1 as a flower girl at the July 30 Queen's Coronation in Austin after earning first place on the point and merit.

Sacred Heart Parish of Flatonia hosts its annual picnic at the parish hall with Masses at 6:30 and 9:30 a.m. A fried chicken dinner at 11:30 a.m. and supper at 6:00 p.m. Tickets adults 2.00 children 1.25. Take home meals 2.00. Events include a country store auction and music by Wence Shimek Orchestra. Everyone invited.
