Red Cross Aid Efforts In War Zone Described
The Red Cross operates twenty dispensaries in the American Army Zone in France to aid families and troops. It houses and feeds thousands of children to shield them from gas and shell fire and divides the war zone into six districts with workers supplying essentials. It provides builders and ready to put up buildings for the homeless, ships daily supplies to Paris and branches across France, and runs an artificial limb factory outside Paris plus splint plants.
