Mr. Arnhold Jaroszewski brought a large chicken egg to the Wagle office claiming it was laid by one of his hens. He noted its diameter of 3 1/2 inches and across measurement of 2 1/2 inches and that a smaller egg had been laid previously.
Mrs. Dick Ammermann is vacationing in Germany and Holl and to visit her father and relatives. She left in early March, traveled six days aboard the S S United States, and expects to return to Moulton in about six weeks. Mr. E M McDonald of Kerrville visits the J H Vanham home for the week.
Funeral services for Anton B. Moeller of Moulton Route 1 were held Saturday at 9 a.m. at Witting Catholic Church with Rev. Henry Psencik officiating and burial in Moulton City Cemetery. He died March 18 at a son’s home. Born August 12 1868 at Freslburg he was 84 years seven months six days old. He married Louisa Meyer January 23 1894. she died October 3 1937. Survived by sons Anton Jr Edmund and Henry all of Moulton. daughters Mrs Gus Hustede Weimar Mrs August Haechten Rowena and Mrs Anton Beyer Moulton. 29 grandchildren 19 great grandchildren.
Men from the Agricultural and Mechanical veterinary program are expected to visit Mccalton soon to conduct educational demonstrations on livestock diseases. The Chamber of Commerce has urged Moulton's inclusion in the school’s program, with further details to be announced.
