Texas Legislature Plans To Appropriate Soil Conservation Funds
State soil district leader R M Boswell urged Texas lawmakers to pass a 10 million dollar permanent capital fund for soil conservation. He argued the money would seed districts to purchase materials and equipment, leased to cooperatives, sustaining a decade long program and boosting agricultural value by about 100 million dollars.
