On Wednesday evening March 15 Charles Lueke married Lizzie Wagner at the bride’s parents home. Judge F W Lueke officiated as friends extend best wishes to the couple and the Wagner family. The newlyweds reside with Mrs Pietsch in the western part of town.
Several local residents headed to range and Corpus Christi while others visited relatives in Flatonia Schulenburg Cuero Shiner Gonzales and Houston. The South Texas Teachers Association plans Flatonia meetings on April 20 21 and 22. La Grange announces its annual fair on May 18 19 and 20. A basket supper at Sam and Will Moore Institute raised 23.26 for the Moulton School and Home Club praised for improving local education.
The San Antonio and Aransas Pass Railway hog demonstration train stopped at Moulton last Thursday afternoon with many farmers and business people viewing the five hogs. A. E. Singleton, former president of the Texas Swine Breeders Association, spoke on hog raising and care along the Sap road, drawing attentive crowds and promising beneficial impact from the event.
Miss Hilda Paul returned Sunday from a pleasant visit to friends in Flatonia. Mrs Wm Franke and children came back Monday from a visit to relatives at Flatonia. Mr August Heprich and family have moved to Roscoe for future residence. Mr and Mrs Ed Matula arrived from Shiner Saturday to spend a few days with their parents.
