Fatal gravel slide claims Delma Thompson in Gonzales
Delma Thompson, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Thompson, was buried by a cave in at a gravel pit south of Gonzales while loading sand into a truck. He was crushed and suffered broken ribs that pierced the lungs and died Wednesday night after being taken to the city sanitarium. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at Wrightsboro.
