Mr and Mrs F T Fehrenkamp marked fifty years of marriage with a large gathering at their Moulton home on June 20. Guests enjoyed a noon to night feast, electric lights, a band, and dancing on the lawn. The couple, both in good health, were married June 20 1878 at Live Oak Hill Fayette County. They have seven living children and sixteen grandchildren.

Shiner Fair Draws Large Crowds For Four Day Event

The Shiner fair ran June 20 to 23 with favorable weather and high quality exhibits. Daily baseball games and nightly dances drew big crowds while speakers included State Senator Gus Russek, Congressman Tom Connally, Congressman J J Mansfield, and county candidates. Two bands supplied music during the four days.

Arm fracture after attempting to crank car at Moulton

Mrs Elo Maikoetter of Moulton sustained a fracture of the right arm last Sunday while trying to crank an automobile. Surgical aid was summoned and she is doing nicely.

Death of Mr Frank Antrich Near Shiner

Mr Frank Antrich died at his home near Shiner Saturday from heart failure. Interment was in Shiner Catholic Cemetery Sunday afternoon with Rev Father Nettardus officiating. He was 79 and survived by his wife and four children, two brothers Peter of Waco and Leonard of Moulton. He was a distant relative of Joe Bohuslav and family of Moulton.

Sunday School Picnic at Fritz Fisbeck's Meadow

The Moulton Sunday School held its annual picnic on Sunday June 24 in Fritz Fisbeck's pasture seven miles west of town. Sunday school and divine services were held on the grounds. A bountiful dinner was served and enjoyed by a large crowd. The juvenile orchestra played several selections. Everyone present spent a most enjoyable day.
