Johnson Renominated on Farmer Labor Ticket in Minnesota
Magnus Johnson, a Minnesota dirt farmer senator, was renominated by an overwhelming plurality on the Farmer Labor ticket in Monday’s state primary. Automobile output for the first five months reached 1,742,832, about 94,000 more than the prior year. Miriam Ferguson opened her campaign for Democratic gubernatorial nomination at Temple on June 17. The Democratic National Convention convened in New York on Tuesday to nominate candidates for president and vice president for 1924.
