The Moulton Chamber of Commerce met at the high school gym Monday with about twenty members present. President Dr. M M Wagner announced new officers Joe Vanham O F Knape W H Pundt E C Fehrenkamp and details on dues and memberships. Plans included a second county road bond election and joining the South Texas Chamber of Commerce.

New 1949 Ford Draws 600 Viewers at Moulton Sale
More than 600 persons visited Moulton Motor Sales Friday and Saturday to inspect two new 1949 Ford models a two door and a four door. Lee Jarosek explained features and gave test rides while prizes were awarded for attendance including an electric iron an inner tube and five quarts of oil to winners Alex Haas John Reindl and Miss Irene Kloesel.

Komensky 4-H Club members Arthur Barba rak Franklin Michalec attended a three day District Boys 4-H Camp at Beeville last week. Arthur won first place blue ribbon and $5 for grass identification. Franklin won first place blue ribbon for rifle shooting in the Junior Division.

Funeral Services For Mrs. Fred Krause
Mrs. Fred W. Krause, sister of Mrs. Anna Pundt of Moulton, died in Gipson Hospital Three Rivers Texas on Monday June 21 at 6 45 AM aged 67 years 2 months 10 days. Body brought to Moulton Wednesday lay in state at Smith Funeral Home services held Thursday at 10 AM with interment in Moulton City Cemetery. At a Moulton High School meeting last Wednesday evening the Moulton Independent School District drew up contracts to again serve the Cedar Springs Culak and Nickel Common School Districts for the upcoming term.
