A lunch was served and next meeting July 5 will be hosted by Messrs Marcus Roehm Fred Wilks Emil Pundt and Geo von Lienen.

Moulton Bay Graduates Attend Saint Louis Graduation

Moulton Bay graduates Joe Heger and his son Joe Jr. returned from St. Louis where they attended Frank Heger’s graduation from the Medical College. Frank will work in a St. Louis hospital for a year before returning home. He’s an Moulton High School graduate and is celebrated by all of Moulton.

Dukes Begin to Move

Farmers in the Moulton territory ship cucumbers for the market with 1,400 pounds delivered Monday. Deliveries will occur every other day this week and likely daily next week. The crop is hauled to Weimar for the Texas Pickle and Preserve Company at 8 cents per pound for the top grade. Community leaders praise the cooperative effort led by Smith Leazar of the Chamber of Commerce to improve the area's prospects.

Shower for Miss Stella Mladenka Hosted by Hinch Duo

A Thursday afternoon shower for Miss Stella Mladenka was hosted at the Hinch residence by Mrs Richard Boehm and Miss Emma Hinch. Guests enjoyed readings by Miss Margaret Woodley Quebedeaux and Miss Ide Lea Bickford, wrote advice for the couple, and contributed recipes for a housekeeper to be. Refreshments included cake and punch with out of town relatives in attendance.

Birthday Party for Paula Puck Celebrates June Birthday

Miss Paula Puck eldest daughter of Dr and Mrs P O Puck entertained friends Monday evening June 11 for her birth anniversary. Forty two furnished amusement and games were played. Miss Evelyn Koester won a prize a box of correspondence cards while Oscar Raab claimed the booby a toy balloon. Refreshments included cake sandwiches soda water and candy.
