Escapes Injury In Car Truck Mishap Near Navidad River
Mr. Marvin Merrem and his daughter Renee escaped serious injury when their 1957 Chevrolet was rear ended by a big transport truck near the Navidad River bridge between Schulenburg and Weimar on June 6 around 5:00 PM. Renee suffered only minor scratches and was treated at Weimar’s Youens Hospital before release. Marvin continued to Moulton for Lions Club duties.
