Social round of visits and travel around Yoakum
Robert Preston visited Yoakum area relatives the latter part of last week. Emil F. Bartosch was a business visitor at Yoakum between trains Friday. Mrs Minnie Richter and son Herbert of Gonzales were in the city one day last week. Mrs Jim Bell and children left for Dallas to spend several months with relatives. Mrs Clare Krause and daughter Josephine of Flatonia visited relatives there last Thursday. Mr and Mrs Frank John and Emil F. Bartosch paid a county capital visit Thursday of last week. Mr and Mrs Henry Cook of Smithville were in the city one day last week. John Premus returned to Houston after a brief visit with Mr Stanie Reischl. Sam Preston of Mathis, visiting Robert Preston's family, left for San Antonio Sunday. Clyde Hall returned to Yoakum after several days visit with kin at Old Moutton. Felix Hillmer and family of Nordheim were in the city Friday and Saturday as guests of Mr and Mrs William Hillmer. Arthur Willberg and William Miculka, recently overseas in the military service, landed in the U S A last week.
