Aged Lavaca County Resident Dies After Long Life
Wm. Hohmann, among Lavaca county's oldest residents, died Sunday at 5:15 PM at his son Willie’s home near Moulton. Funeral services were held Monday at Zion’s Lutheran Church with burial in Moulton Public Cemetery. He was 82 years 1 month 2 days old, a native of Germany who arrived in Texas in 1884 and lived in Lavaca County most of his life. Surviving are his widow, two sons Willie and Louis, three daughters Louise Wieting Emil Schroeder and Frank Lenert, 24 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
