Herbert Pieper joined Kopecky Drug Company. Miss Marie Malik of Cistern accepted a clerkship with Ed Boehm's Sons. Mrs Otto Krause and children with Miss Viola Hinch were in Yoakum between trains Thursday. Ruby Meiners returned home for summer after teaching in San Antonio. Selma Hillmer became cashier at Ed Boehm's Sons. Mrs John G Guenther and daughter Marian returned from Houston visit. Mrs Joe Etlinger and children and Mrs Willie F Oeh and daughter went to Scurry County to visit relatives. Konst Rehmer and family and Elizabeth Que bedeaux were in San Antonio. Mary Ann and Frank Nachlinger returned to Scurry County. Henry Earl Menefee returned home from Southwest Texas State Normal College for vacation. The Eagle corrected its report of a baby girl. it was a boy. Ed R Schindler and family of Ennis were here visiting his parents. August Ellinghausen and Emil Grunwald attended Hochheim Prairie Fire and Storm Insurance Association meeting in Poth. next meeting will be in Yoakum.
