Jasek Brothers Named To All District Teams
Sid and Matt Jasek were named to the first and second 27 A All District Teams by the coaches. Sid, a senior, earned a unanimous first team selection with a .408 district average and 10 RBIs while catching and pitching. Matt, a junior, was a second team pick despite missing time for surgery, hitting .413 overall and .438 in district play, and he pitched and played shortstop.

Moulton Band Director Injured In Accident
Robert Janota of Shiner, band director for Moulton Independent School District, suffered two broken legs and multiple injuries after a pickup crash south of Gonzales. He was treated at Holmes Hospital Gonzales then moved to Baptist Memorial Hospital San Antonio and remains in intensive care.
