He says crops are excellent with prospects for a strong yield and notes it is the largest cotton farm in Ellis county. He mentions 400 acres of corn for fodder and plans for maize and Kaffir corn to provide feed. He will join the Enterprise party for the A and M college.
A Riverside Park picnic near Hot Springs Ark was halted when a boat carrying four locals including John A Scott of Kewanee Il overturned in the Ouachita River. Harry Moore saved the two women Miss Etta Beatty and Miss Wilma Longbotham while Scott drowned. Anderson notes rapid fish declines on the Navasota River due to dynamite.
