Dr. and Mrs. F. J. Guenther left for Gillett in Karnes county to spend ten days camping. Their truck, loaded with camping gear, suffered multiple flats on muddy roads and eventually caught fire, but they arrived safely.
Joe F Pavlica former resident of Gillett died after three months illness in Floresville hospital. He was 54 years old and is survived by his widow eight children seven grandchildren and many relatives. Interment was in Catholic Cemetery with Rev Father Joseph Kopp officiating. The Eagle extends sympathy to the bereaved. additional brief notes list visitors and residents associated with families in Moulton and surrounding areas.
