In Parkersburg West Virginia on January 26 Tucker a colored boy killed Mary Beall a White woman in front of the Negro Methodist church. He fled home confessed to his mother and tried twice to shoot himself missing both times. He then cut his own throat with the same knife and now lies in critical condition.
Coleman Texas January 27 Dr Stam Lee father in law of Mrs Holmes recently acquitted of killing her husband shot and mortally wounded Mr McDaniels at Santa Anna last night. Miss Stone located near Yapyak in European Turkey where American missionary and Mme Tsilka held captive. Delegates arrive at Banisko to deliver ransom. Enilka christened infant daughter of Mme Tsilka.
