United States Geological Survey notes Texas produced 544000 ounces of silver in 1921 versus 571401 in 1920. The Presidio mine at Shafter led production, operating steadily through the year. A small amount of gold was also obtained, with no lead or copper reported.
Elton Bailey of Flatonia visited Moulton Saturday afternoon. Tanlac is advertised as restoring health by improving appetite and nutrition. Rev Walher Joseph Kopp was in Shiner Friday. Four boys were playing with gunpowder on Coke Street in Yoakum Texas when the powder ignited. Ivy McCloud son of Mr and Mrs R E McCloud sustained burns to the arm shoulder and eyes and received lockjaw antitoxin. George Burch also suffered burns but was not seriously injured.

The stock of goods and fixtures belonging to the bankrupt estate of O B Hilert will be sold to the highest bidder for cash, with sale approved by the referee in bankruptcy, on Friday January 27 at 4 9 o clock p m in the building where located. Stock invoices amount to 650 56 and fixtures 1335 90. The accounts will also be sold at the same time but separately from stock and fixtures which will be sold together. Sold by Kotzebue Drug Co Ady.
