Entomologist to Help Lavaca Farmers Fight Cut Ants
R R Reppert of the Texas A M College Extension Service will visit Lavaca county on Thursday January 28 to treat cut ant nests. An auger will reach the nest and poison poured into the hole followed by a second treatment two weeks later to end the infestation. Farmers troubled by cut ants should contact the county agent for arrangements.
