In memory of my darling son who passed away four years ago on January 18 the mother writes of enduring loneliness and tears. Funeral services for W. R. Briggs United Gas Southwest Texas Division Manager were held in New Braunfels on Tuesday January 15. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Park San Antonio. Briggs 60 died suddenly at home. He managed United Gas distribution in a large Southwest Texas area and had been with the company since 1914. Survived by wife Sadie Briggs son Claude Allen Briggs and three sisters in South Carolina. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Park in San Antonio.
