The Moulton Lutheran Ladies' Aid Society re elected all officers at its latest gathering. Committees named for the month include Sick Mrs Stanis Rothbauer and Mrs Leander Mueller, Flower Miss Helen Urban and Mrs E Janszen. Hostesses were Mrs Tom Picha Mrs Vince Rehmer and Mrs E Pundt. New member Jeraldine Jaroszewski welcomed. Next meeting set for February 4.
Old age pension recipients will receive checks this month averaging $20.31, down from December’s $20.60. The department added 809 to the rolls and will mail to 183 2y2 old persons. Aid to dependent children was reorganized reducing families helped to 11,943 in January from 12,544 in December, with average grants of $21.36. Aid to the blind averaged $23.30 for 4016 cases.
