Legumes and Small Grain Pasture Tips for Texas

Delayed growth of perennial grasses and weakened dhallis and bermuda from drought mean spring grazing should be delayed to protect root systems. Winter pastures could bridge the gap, with planting now a gamble but potentially justified if other grazing is unavailable. Also notes funeral attendance details and upcoming National Turkey Federation Convention in Dallas January 6.
