In Trinity Texas a 3-year-old boy and 1-year-old girl of Mr. and Mrs. Sehe Elliott burned to death Saturday night as their parents were visiting Tom Elliott nearby. The family returned to find the house engulfed. the parents could not enter the blaze. The mother tried to rush inside but was restrained.
San Benito Texas reports the seed cane planting period nearly over with about twelve hundred acres to be planted for seed this year. Each seeded acre would replant six to eight acres the next year, indicating substantial future development based on current plantings.
