The local committee of the Reconstruction Finance Corporation designates February 18 to 17 as Clean-up Week in Moulton. Residents are urged to tidy premises and place trash for removal February 16 and 17. White washing of trees may be done free if material is furnished.
The annual masquerade dance at Henkhaus Hall is scheduled for Saturday night February 4. Prizes will be awarded. Pavlas Hungry Seven will furnish the music.
An all night St Valentine Novelty Dance will be held at Hermann Park hall Saturday night February 11. Bill Cornelson and his orchestra will perform.
The Flatonia Fire Department selects officers for the coming year with E. A. Arnim as president G. C. Simmons as vice president R. O. Hill as secretary treasurer Ed Brunner as assistant chief Chief Vrana is re appointed by the city council.

Austin reports the house approved a bill to abolish the farm census. Introduced by Representative Len A. Alsup of Carthage, it sailed through after suspending rules. The vote stood 117 to 2 in an eight minute debate.
