Mr. J. H. Barmore of Mayfield in Milam County Texas shipped a car of white hogs to Fort Worth on Wednesday. The hogs are described as very fine stock raised on sandy land, clean and white with good appearance. Mr. Barmore is noted as a successful farmer who raises hogs diversifies and plants with little cotton and has made money from his enterprise.

Thomas Knight, a carpenter from Brunner, died at 8 30 Friday morning after being shot through the left lung Thursday evening during a quail hunting trip at Eureka near Houston Texas. He was well known in the vicinity and died at Haley's sanitarium.
