Natchez Texas December 16 Allison Blandes a one year old boy shot and killed his stepfather Albert Clements in their East Oak Street home. Clements a heavy drinker with a violent temper threatened the wife. The boy restrained him and fired a single barrel shotgun fatally wounding him. Blandes surrendered to police. A coroner's jury returned a verdict of justifiable homicide.
Yesterday morning around 10 o clock a cottage owned by Marvin Turney and occupied by a Black resident in West Marshall burned to the ground. The blaze caused total loss of house and contents, and the cause remains unknown with no insurance.
