First State Bank Stockholders Meet in Moulton Texas
The First State Bank of Moulton Texas declared a 10 percent cash dividend at a December 10 1925 directors meeting and approved a large bonus for active officers and staff. At the same day annual stockholders meeting directors were re elected and officers chosen for the year. Wm Green served as president with Frank J Wagner as active vice president and Buescher and George von Lienen as vice presidents and cashiers.

Voters approve a $175000 bond issue by about 34 to 1 with splits at Moulton 398 118 Oak Grove 21 10 and Henkhaus 21 5. The Moulton Hi Gypsies beat Nickel Basketball 27 to 4 on an outdoor court. Miss Preston’s class held a program for PT A with top student Daniel Devilek. Seventh grade English club elected new officers. Gypsies and Bearcats face Hallettsville Friday. A Christmas program by grades is set for December 22 at 7 39 PM with admission 15 cents for pupils and 25 cents for adults.

Earnest Valenta Dies in Brenham Auto Crash After Long Injury
Earnest Valenta aged 24 died in Brenham from injuries suffered in an automobile accident nearly two years ago. The funeral was held in Brenham Cemetery Tuesday afternoon and he was a nephew of townsman R Valenta.
