The Lutheran Ladies' Aid Society held its regular meeting last Thursday afternoon. Committees for the month were selected: Sick Committee Mrs Emil Janezen and Mrs Guerisbeck. Membership Committee Mrs D Ammermann and Mrs George von Lienen. Flower Committee Mrs W K Richter and Miss Helen Kaase. Hostesses: Mrs Wm Miculka, Mrs George Kaiser and Mrs C C Orts. The next meeting is scheduled for January 7, 1948.

Komensky PTA met to discuss matters including a successful Thanksgiving picnic with about $300 net profit. Christmas holidays begin December 24 with January 4 return, a December 23 gift distribution, and the next meeting planned for February first Friday.

Sister Lodge Elects Officers For Year
Lorbeeren Lodge No. 68 the auxiliary to the Sons of Herman has elected officers for the coming year led by president Mrs Martha Hoepfi and vice president Mrs Matilda Hillmer.
