The Moulton Eagle reports deputies from Columbus assisted with seven prisoners being held for transport to their jail after medical visits at Lavaca Medical Center Clinic. A prisoner faced DWI charges with fine paid. Local police contained cattle on Highway 95 and a patient was sent to a Victoria hospital. Lawmen attended retirement party for Game Warden Emmett Wolfsdorff at Blase's Place and supported Hallettsville Lions Club Carnival.
