Austin on August 6. The assistant attorney general says every Texas county must hold a runoff primary August 28 for state officers. Some counties may not need a second primary for county offices. The law requires county executive committees to arrange the second primary and mandamus actions may compel compliance.
Mrs. Annie Winklarek owner of an 80 acre black land farm seven miles west of Shiner closed a deal with J. C. Isdale of Kleberg County for two houses in Yoakum. The farm valued at 37 600 and houses at 4 000. Closed in Judge E J Motis's law offices at Yoakum early this week.
