Constitutional amendments to expand Veterans' Land Fund Texas
Proposed Texas constitutional amendments seek to raise the Veterans' Land Fund to 200 million dollars by creating a Veterans' Land Board with defined powers and terms. The measure covers bond issuance, fund use for land purchases for veterans, and related financial provisions. Also includes a separate House Joint Resolution proposing Section 51c to allow legislatures to grant aid to those fined or imprisoned for offenses they did not commit.
