Andrew Lamza and wife with their son Henry, formerly of Shiner, closed a large Karnes county land sale in Yoakum. They conveyed 254 acres to Henry for 12700 dollars. Lamza had acquired 866 acres four years ago for 42000 dollars and kept only his homestead. He notes a good corn year and cotton with eight bolls per stalk.
