Shiner Texas July 30 The Shiner Farmer's Cooperative Gin ginned the first bale of 1935 cotton. Grown by Ben Bolech it weighed 512 pounds and graded middling. Wolters Bros Company bought it for 18 cents per pound and the local Chamber of Commerce added a $25 payment.
