Set Free After Drowning Infant
An all male jury acquitted Irene Marlene Becker 22 in Columbus on a murder charge tied to the drowning of her newborn in a restroom commode tank. She testified she blacked out after birth and could not recall placing the infant there. She said she did not remember the birth until days later.
