Two men held in Quincy bombing case
Two men are in custody over a string of bomb blasts during Robert Dole’s Quincy visit that killed one and injured another. Robert Motley 37 of Quincy turned himself in with an attorney. Jeffrey T. Lewis 17 of Quincy was arrested earlier the same day. More suspects were being sought as of today. Bond for Motley was set at 250000 by Adams County Circuit Court Judge Paul Kolodziej.

An overturned livestock truck on U S 40 in midtown St. Louis led to a large scale cattle roundup. Police reported 126 calves on board. at least six calves died after being thrown from the overpass and others were shot due to injuries.
