Body recovered from Des Plaines River near Joliet
The body of Robert Rapp was recovered by firemen at 9 a.m. today east of the Joliet Watch Club. Deputy Coroner Van Overman pronounced him dead after an autopsy was ordered at St. Joseph Hospital Joliet. Rapp, owner of Dock 66 Marina, fell from his 22 foot cruiser while fixing a light just after midnight, leaving his wife Lenore and four year old grandson Dennis as passengers.

A hot lunch program survey and cafeteria planning were discussed, with enrollment at 604 this year, up 19 from last spring.
